PROCESS AND RATES

We have a 3-night minimum year-round.

We offer a free night for rentals longer than 12 nights. Please contact us to discuss if you wish to rent a van for longer than two weeks.

Consider a season pass if you are a Seattle local and need shorter rentals. Reach out to us for details!

Rentals are available for pick up after 1:00 pm on the starting day of your rental. They are due back by 1:00 pm on the last day of your rental.

Please check with us in advance if you need changes to this, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Remember that the earliest we can ever do a pick-up is 10:00 am.

We offer discounts, including those for returning renters and early bookings. However, the total amount of combined discounts cannot exceed 15%.

Your rental includes 125 miles per day, with additional miles charged at $.55/mile.

For a 6-night rental, 750 miles is plenty of range to see much of the Pacific Northwest. Please remember that long travel days are not recommended - it's best to keep your daily mileage under 200 miles.

Pets are allowed in our weekender vans, Whatcom and Eliot.

We must collect taxes, which include a Washington sales tax and a Seattle rental car tax. We understand these are high taxes, but it is essential for our business.

Insurance is required on our rentals and must be obtained by the driver. Our current provider offers three levels of coverage that range in prices starting at $29.95-$51.95 (Vanagons) and $39.95-$79.95 (Metris). All packages come with complete, comprehensive collision coverage.

The lower-priced option has only the statutory state minimum (usually $25,000) for liability protection. The middle tier ($41.95) is the same level of insurance coverage as the base tier but includes a separate roadside assistance package. The $51.95 package comes with $1M in liability. We wish the insurance thing were more straightforward — rest assured, we make absolutely nothing on this part of the rental.

For any trips less than six nights during the off-season, we charge a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee.

Note: Most of our vans have built-in heaters to help make cold-weather camping more enjoyable. It's best not to use the pop-top when it's cold out, so this generally means camping with two people instead of 4.
